Ensure you have all passports (current, previous, and from other nationalities). ICANA will request the following information to complete the DS-160 form:

- Tentative destination
- Social media handles (usernames required)
- Email addresses and phone numbers from the last 5 years
- Details about contacts or family members in the U.S.
- Full name
- Address (street, postal code, state)
- Legal status (American citizen, permanent resident, non-immigrant)
- Phone
- Email address
- Dates of birth of father and mother (even if deceased)
- Personal, professional, and academic details (including income and employment history)
- Name of the company or employer / Name of the university
- Full address: street, postal code, city
- Actual gross monthly remuneration
- Who will finance the trip
- Name of the company or person covering the expenses.
- Address, phone number, email.
- Marital status
- Divorced: Full name of ex-spouse, place and date of birth. Date of marriage and divorce.
- Married/Widowed/Partnered: Full name of spouse/partner, place and date of birth, current address.
- Information about the last issued visa
- Information about the last five trips for the U.S.
- If applicable
- Social Security Number
- Taxpayer ID Number
- U.S. Driver’s License Number and the state where it was issued
- Educational institutions attended and completed
- High School: Full address, postal code, dates of attendance.
- University / College / Graduate School: Full address, postal code, dates of attendance.

How Long is the ICANA Visa Application Fee Valid?
The fee is valid for 3 months from the date of purchase. After this period, you will need to pay again if the process has not been activated.
How Long is the DS-160 Form Valid?
The DS-160 form is valid for 1 year from the date it is first completed. If your consular appointment is scheduled after this period, you must update the form. ICANA offers assistance for updates at an additional cost.
When Are the Earliest Available Appointments at the Consulate?
Processing times vary depending on whether it's a renewal or a first-time application and are determined solely by the Consulate. Applicants may attempt to expedite their appointment based on the Consulate's calendar availability.
Do Babies Pay the Same Fees as Adults?
Yes, all applicants must pay the ICANA service fee and the consular fee.
Can I Renew My Visa Before It Expires?
Yes, the Consulate recommends renewing your visa in advance.
Should I Book Travel Before My Visa is Approved?
The Consulate advises against booking flights or paying for accommodations until your visa has been issued and stamped in your passport.
