ICANA’s International Internship Program offers U.S. students a unique cultural and professional immersion experience in Argentina. This program combines work placements with cultural activities, enriching personal and academic development.
Through this program, students will have the opportunity to:

What does the program include?
1. Internship Coordination
- Placement in Argentine organizations, companies, NGOs, or educational institutions based on the student’s profile and interests.
- Ongoing monitoring of the intern’s performance and experience at the host organization.
2. Cultural and Language Preparation
- Intensive Spanish courses before and during the internship.
- Cultural adaptation workshops for a successful integration into the local environment.
3. Logistical and Administrative Support
- Assistance with accommodation arrangements.
- Guidance on immigration procedures.
- Help with local transportation and mobility within the city.
4. Cultural Activities and Networking
- Excursions and guided tours to iconic sites in Buenos Aires and other regions of Argentina.
- Thematic workshops on tango, Argentine cuisine, local art and literature.
- Participation in community events and volunteer opportunities.
- Networking opportunities with other students and professionals.
5. Mentorship and Personalized Support
- Assignment of a local mentor to support the student throughout their stay.
- Access to ICANA’s bilingual team to address any concerns or emergencies.
6. Evaluation and Certification
- Final performance evaluation of the intern in collaboration with the host organization.
- Program participation certificate issued by ICANA.
